Youth and Adult Education (EJA) is a type of education that over the years has been differentiated both by the public it serves and by the teaching strategies and methodologies applied. With the enrollment of students who are the target of special education (PAEE) growing over the years in regular classes and in the EJA, it is necessary to expand the support of specialized educational care (AEE) and rethink the teaching process for this public. The research problem is: how are access and pedagogical accessibility being guaranteed to EJA students in elementary school II? The main objective is to analyze the schooling process of PAEE students in the Youth and Adult Education modality in Elementary School II. This is a qualitative study and will be carried out in a state school in the Muca neighborhood, in the southern region of the city of Macapá-AP. The methodological procedures are organized in two stages: I) Semi-structured interviews to be applied to the six teachers of the common classes who work with PAEE in the classes of Elementary School II of the EJA modality and five teachers who work in the AEE, as well as participatory observation of school daily life; II) Documentary survey: it will involve the analysis of the Pedagogical Political Project (PPP), the Pedagogical Reports of the School and the AEE. It is hoped that this research will contribute to the debate on the challenges and possibilities of special education in the context of the EJA, as well as presenting pedagogical proposals based on collaborative teaching and collaborative consultancy, so that they can contribute to the teaching-learning process of PAEE students in EJA elementary school classes.
