SUMMARY:

The Amazon has experienced significant changes during its occupation process, an example being the anthropogenic soils, which originated from the prolonged and unintentional deposition of Indigenous domestic waste. These soils have their own characteristics in their archaeoanthropogenic horizon, such as the presence of ceramic fragments, charcoal and in addition to high chemical fertility compared to the natural soils of the Amazon region. For this reason, the present work proposes to investigate the Geoarchaeological context of Anthrosols in Sites AP-MA-28 (CT UEAP Site), and AP-MA-31 (Ilha Mirim Site), in the state of Amapá and discuss the importance of these anthrosols for family farming. For this purpose, a bibliographic survey of the environmental aspects of the area was carried out, considering Geology, Geomorphology, Soils, Hydrography, Vegetation and Climate, of these ancient pré-colonial settlements, as well as analysis of the cataloguing records of the 28 sites that are registered with the National Council of Archaeological Sites (CNSA). In the field, 9 undisturbed soil samples were collected, from the opening of trenches whose measurements were 1x1 m², the morphological analyses were measured with the help of the Munsell (2015) and Lemos and Santos (2002) chart, the texture was classified according to the textural triangle used by EMBRAPA (2017). The chemical properties of the soils were obtained through laboratory analyses. The particle size was determined by the international pipette method and the fractions separated according to the principles of Stokes' law. For the available chemical analyses, the chemical parameters of pH in water were verified: P, k, Na, Cu, Fe, Mn and Zn were extracted using the mehlich method 1; AL, H+AL (potential acidity) was extracted with calcium acetate; M.O (organic matter) was extracted by potassium dichromate and determined by titration. The chemical analyses showed an enrichment of the soil by some elements, the most significant variations were observed in the contents of P, Ca and K, as well as the low or no amount of aluminum in these soils, these variations showed that the AP-MA-28 sites has higher chemical levels compared to the AP-MA-31 site. Through the analysis of the cadastre forms of archaeological sites in the municipality of Macapá, it was found that a good part of these sites are suppressed or even destroyed by recent anthropic activities, putting at risk these vestiges of paramount natural/cultural and scientific importance, as they are indicators and preserve the records of pré-colonial human occupation. The morphological parameters identified, as well as the archaeological materials (ceramic and lithic) and the location of these sites comprise the geoindicators of the ancient human presence in these sites. The physical and chemical properties of these soils have been improved through the practices and techniques used by these peoples, addressing these techniques in the practices used by contemporary family farming will improve the means of production and preservation of these heritages.
