SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT AS A SUPPORT TOOL FOR AÇAÍ QUALITY CERTIFICATION: FOCUS ON IMPROVING THE INSPECTION PROCESS
Sanitary inspection. Quality certification. Digital platform. Açaí. Food safety.
The production and commercialization of açaí in the state of Amapá play a significant socioeconomic role but face challenges related to sanitary inspection and product quality assurance. This study aimed to develop a web platform to optimize the inspection process of açaí production, promoting greater transparency, regularization, and food safety. The methodology involved mapping the production chain and regulatory challenges, modeling the system using the Business Model Canvas, and applying agile methods in the platform's development. The software was designed to allow producers and vendors to digitally request inspections, monitor regulatory processes, and receive a quality seal upon meeting sanitary requirements. Additionally, the platform provides a public portal for consulting certified establishments, encouraging voluntary adherence to the regularization process. The results are expected to demonstrate that the adoption of the tool can contribute to improved inspection, reduced sanitary risks, and the promotion of a healthy competitive environment among producers. It is anticipated that system validation will demonstrate its feasibility and acceptance by stakeholders, identifying opportunities for improvement and expansion of the solution.
