.This research analyzes the dynamics of social media discourses surrounding violence committed by police officers in the state of Amapá, Brazil. Using a digital ethnographic approach, it examines four local Facebook pages: "Correio Amapaense," "Bom Dia Amazônia," "Jornal do AP," and "G1 AP," investigating how their posts on this phenomenon shape collective categories and perceptions of justice, criminality, and public security. The study highlights how online interactions, comments, and posts reinforce stigmas, legitimize violent actions, and celebrate the death of individuals labeled as "criminals." By exploring symbolic boundaries and a new grammar of violence on the internet, the research reveals moral and social legal sensibilities that underpin support for state violence and the effectiveness of lethality as a more direct and efficient response to criminality, impacting certain bodies and lives.
